We Were Never Meant to Carry Life’s Hardest Moments Alone..
At some point in our lives, every one of us will find ourselves on both sides of support. We will care for someone we love through illness, grief, loss, or major life changes and we will also experience seasons when we need someone to walk beside us.
But knowing how to support someone doesn't always come naturally. Neither does knowing how to ask for or receive support when we are the ones struggling.
This two-part series explores both sides of that relationship: how we show up for others, and how we allow others to show up for us.
Part One: Supporting Others with Presence & Boundaries
An exploration of what it means to truly be there for someone while honoring both their experience and your own.
Part Two: Receiving Support with Agency
A look at what it means to recognize what we need, communicate it, and remain connected to our own voice and choices while allowing others to care for us.
Together, through a shared room discussion, these sessions invite us to look at support in a deeper way…not as fixing, saving, or having all the right answers, but as a way of being with one another through the moments when life doesn't go according to plan.
Because sooner or later, we will all need someone. And sooner or later, someone will need us.
