Thai Massage for a Cause

Local healing. Global impact.

Thai Massage for a Cause is a community-centered initiative rooted in service, lineage, and reciprocity.

Every other month, our Thai Massage students and practitioners come together to offer 20-minute mini sessions at an accessible rate. This creates an opportunity for members of our community to receive therapeutic bodywork without the financial barrier that can sometimes come with ongoing care. At the same time, it allows our practitioners to continue refining their skills, building confidence, and connecting with new clients in a supportive environment.

But this offering is about more than simply providing bodywork.

It’s about honoring where this practice comes from.

My own journey with Thai Massage has been deeply shaped by my time studying with Dr. Nooy in Thailand. Her devotion to her community and her commitment to accessible healing left a lasting impact on how I practice, teach, and hold this work. Watching her care for people- often those who might not otherwise have access to treatment- showed me that Thai Massage is more than a modality. It is medicine, service, and relationship.

Dr. Nooy is currently building a clinic and retreat space in Thailand so she can continue offering care and education within her community. In the spirit of gratitude and reciprocity, a portion of the proceeds from ‘Thai Massage for a Cause’ helps support the growth of her clinic and the continuation of her work.

Funds from each session are shared in a way that supports both local and global healing:

  • Supporting the practitioners offering their time and skill

  • Supporting the continued growth of Dr. Nooy’s clinic in Thailand

  • Supporting the wellness center that makes these community events possible

By participating in Thai Massage for a Cause, you are not only receiving care for your own body but you are also contributing to a larger circle of healing that extends from our local community to the roots of this tradition in Thailand.

It is our hope that this offering becomes a rhythm of care, connection, and gratitude. Where healing given locally creates meaningful impact globally!
